Rail freight

Since September 1, 2014 CTT provides the ability to transport containers from Rotterdam to Twente and the German border region by train. At the moment the train operates three times a week in cooperation with the Bentheimer Eisenbahn. CTT takes care of the bookings, the terminal handlings and provides the transport to and from the customer. From Februar 2015, another rail connection to Malmo (SE) has started.

To unburden the road

The container train arrives at about 8:00 am at the CTT Bad Bentheim terminal (just across the German border). This form of rail freight means a reduction of 10,000 truck movements per year, i.e. more than 5 million truck kilometers.

Fast alternative

Rail freight services means a quick alternative for the stretch between Rotterdam and the Euregio, especially since these trains can continue non-stop and suffer less from congestion. The supply of the containers to the customer is carried out by road.

More accessible

The rail terminal in Bad Bentheim makes Twente and the German border area even more accessible and therefore more attractive to logistics companies. In addition to the link with Rotterdam more rail freight connections are initiated in the near future from Bad Bentheim to Scandinavia, Eastern and Southern Europe

Even more options

Besides rail freight CTT provides opportunities for opportunities for container transport over water and road.
